This beautiful, perennial herb is an easy-to-grow ground cover that fits comfortably into landscaping or the veggie garden. Oregano’s natural environment is rocky mountain sides, so it thrives in the hot, dry parts of your garden where other plants may struggle.

August to May.
HARVEST
6 to 8 weeks from planting. Simply pluck stalks or harvest leaves as required. Grows up to 1 metre wide. Ensure to gather stems for drying in early summer – the leaves can be either be used fresh or dried for long use.
EAT
This herb will jazz up your pizzas, breads, soups, stews and meats nicely.
PRESERVE
Dry by hanging in bunches upside-down in direct sunlight.
