DAVIDSONS PLUM
Davidsonia
Davidson's Plum is a rainforest tree native to NSW and Queensland. Fruits that are similar in shape and colour to European plums grow directly on the tree trunk. Davidson's plum trees are small to medium in size with a slender trunk. They have attractive green leaves and grow best in part sun.

HARVEST
Trees take 3 years to bear fruit. The fruit are ready in summer and are ripe when they turn dark purple. Trees grow up to 5m tall.
EAT
While edible, the fruit are sour and are often eaten in jams and sauces, rather than fresh.
PRESERVE
Perfect to turn into a sauce or jam.
