Vertical gardens are the answer to achieving jungles in small spaces! Turn your apartment into a green scape using simple DIY techniques and easily accessible materials. Join Narelle Happ in this practical workshop where you will kick off with a theory component and then move on to build your very own vertical garden using all types of materials, moss and plants! 

In this hands-on workshop you will learn the following:

Reasons to have a vertical garden
Ideas for vertical gardens for various situations + spaces
The best plant choices for vertical gardens
Soil and water requirements for vertical gardens
DIY ideas for vertical gardens
How to create a vertical garden yourself

Cost: $80.00

Provided: Hammers, nails, staple guns, frames for the front of the vertical gardens, mesh, sphagnum moss, soil and plants. You'll take home a beautiful A4 sized, vertical garden to hang on your wall, fence or even in your kitchen. You'll also take home detailed notes from Narelle. 

Bring: Closed shoes, water, pen + paper for note taking. 

Our teacher: Narelle Happ is a garden designer and horticulturalist who specialises in native garden and permaculture design. She has over a decade of experience and is passionate about creating ‘living’ spaces which are nurturing, productive and sustainable.
