Team and Corporate Volunteering on the farm is a great way for your teams to get their hands dirty, bond and learn some new skills. It’s also adds huge value to the community and people that we serve. We offer volunteering on our urban farm and community food forest. Guided by the season, you could be helping us with bed preparation, weeding, mulching, transplanting seedlings or making compost. Cost is per hour, if you are after a longer volunteering session please get in touch.

We offer a range of hand-ons 45 minute workshops. Choose from:
Succulent Terrariums
You’ll learn the basics of terrariums, and how to build your own terrarium, and plant it out with a vast variety of succulents to take home with you. Our most basic course, we call succulents the gateway drug to gardening, great for first timers and for doing while enjoying a few drinks.
Growing Herbs & Salad
Our absolute gardening 101, enough to get people started on a balcony or something small at home or in the office. We’ll guide you through setting up and caring for your own patch of greens and herbs, whatever space you have.
Sustainability at Home & Work
Learn how permaculture and zero waste principles at home and work can save money and the planet. We focus on energy, waste, water, transport, food, biodiversity and money and team usually learn a lot about each other!
Pickles, Preserves or Ferments
Learn the basics of how to prepare pickles, preserves and ferments while putting together some homemade goodies to take home.
Grow Your Own Seedlings
Maximise your gardening success by learning the basics of seeds and seedlings planting as well as propagating cuttings. More advanced than Growing Greens, run by our resident green thumbs.
Cocktails with Edible Flowers
Learn to transform cocktails with seasonal herbs and flowers that you’ve harvested fresh from the farm. Min guests 25, 1 x Cocktail $ 25 Per person, 2 x Cocktails $45 per person, 3 x Cocktail $ 60 per person.
Yoga on the Farm
Limber up, get grounded and harness the energy of nature in the city with a vinyasa yoga class overlooking the farm. Additional $17pp.

Take a 45 minute tour of our first Sydney urban farm. We’ll guide you through why we’re farming in the city, the benefits of urban farming, our daily operations and farming methods, and take a walk through the different areas of the farm.

PLEASE NOTE
There is a minimum spend is $500.
All prices attract GST.
There are additional charges for cocktails workshop (Min guests 25, 1 x Cocktail $ 25 Per person, 2 x Cocktails $45 per person, 3 x Cocktail $ 60 per person) and yoga on the farm ($17 per person) to cover the additional costs to run these activities.
Our morning tea includes herbal tea grown fresh from the farm and a selection of pastries and cakes from the cafe on site. We also have an on-site cafe with a range of food and beverage options for purchase.
Lunch is offered by our onsite partner Camperdown Commons who use a small amount of Pocket City Farms produce in the preparation of their food. Contact us if you would like to discuss a bespoke farm to table offering.
